Then we went back to Eastern and met the president and then did a language class. This is my American name in Hangul.
Now, onto the evening. We went to Hongik University area to see the night light. Lol...it wasn't really night yet, but still crazy. We only had 2 hours and everyone went to eat, but Erika's mom and I weren't hungry so we walked around instead.
My entire life, I have loved cute stuff. Stuff that I should probably not like anymore (being my age) but I think...it must be something innate. Lol, the other 40 year old adoptee on the trip...when I asked her if she like Hello Kitty, she responded "uh...yeah!!" EVERY SINGLE STORE OPENING had only cute stuff. The cutest. And so super cheap...although I'm leaving tags on so they think I really did spend 1000 dollars instead of 1. Hahaha.
and now for the stuff I did get...I always try to get the girls' gifts with SOME sort of practice use. Socks, the amazing pencil pouches, the SUPER awesome hair clips (that I know won't be used, but would still look cute attached to something on their desks), mirrors, keychains....
And the captain america FIDGET SPINNER...is ALL MINE!!!!!! It is soooooooooooo perfect!!!!
| can you see Julia wearing that flower? HAHAHA!! Lexi's is a pinwheel. Notice how there are 5? Yeah, the Hello Kitty wearing a hanbok is mine :) |
some familiar foods, some NOT familiar foods and the hugest burger I ever saw. I think it's a burger at least.
And now, Kim Minson, this is for you!!! Really, all I can say is WOW.
So, feet apart from each other, group after group, sang...very loudly, very high. The group in the video was the largest and most popular group for sure...but it was nuts!! Dukkyung says it gets a LOT more crazy in the evening. I had my fill :)
Headed back to hotel, face timed my mom and told her all about the day. She was so excited and I couldn't have asked for anything better than her reaction/words/support. Then I blogged, watched Sami and Lexi's show...downed some more Pepto...and now I'm going to write my letter. It's currently 2:30am on Sat...I did take a 10 minute nap before the show from 12-12:10am (10:30am Fri your time) cuz I was drifting. Tomorrow is DMZ and then meeting a HIGH SCHOOL friend for dinner!!!!

That is sooo awesome! Grab some K-Pop stuff for us! LOL! Ella would die if she knew you were there! (she's on a youth retreat this week)
